The Supervisor in Training will assist with:
- Staffing Tha Stand with the goal providing the customer the ultimate Fischer & Wieser experience.
- Engaging with as well as educating staff and customers on F&W products
- Processing customer sales through the POS system and packing the sold items for the customer
- Coordinate with the Tha Stand Sales team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Maintaining displays of fresh fruit and vegetables, and ensure staff is following prescribed guidelines for handling fresh produce throughout store hours
- Opening and Closing the POS system daily
- Stocking product that has been delivered to Tha Stand in a timely manner and communicating inventory needs to the store manager
- Keeping store neat and clean throughout store hours; performing daily cleaning checklist as assigned
- Performing product demonstrations as assigned
- Ensuring all tasks assigned including opening and closing procedures are completed daily
- Other special projects and tasks as assigned, including cooking school projects
Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
Good understanding and execution of customer service and selling skills
Good verbal communication skills
Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Basic math skills
Ability to work independently
Good computer aptitude
Friendly and helpful demeanor
Valid drivers’ license and good driving record is required in order to move between store locations
Attainment of age 18 so that alcohol may be served and sold
Ability to remain flexible under rapidly changing circumstances, while maintaining a positive attitude
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum one (1) year retail sales experience
Current certifications in food handling and TABC alcohol sales (classes will be provided upon being hired)
Typical retail store conditions to include long periods of standing, walking, reaching, and stooping, with occasional exposure to outside elements.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Hours may range between 9am and 7pm, seven (7) days per week.
