Executive Chef

Join our team as Executive Chef and lead the culinary experience at our renowned Cooking School and Bake Haus.

This role is perfect for a skilled chef who thrives in a hands-on teaching environment, has strong leadership capabilities, and is passionate about food, education, and customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as lead instructor for hands-on cooking classes—teaching techniques, flavor profiles, and wine pairings
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure a clean, safe, and professional cooking environment
• Lead and train kitchen staff and guest instructors to deliver consistent, high-quality classes
• Manage food inventory, place orders, and control food and labor costs
• Develop seasonal menus and recipes for our Bake Haus, including grab-and-go and hot items
• Work closely with the General Manager and VP of Retail to align culinary offerings with company goals
• Support marketing with recipe development, food styling, and product promotion
• Represent Fischer & Wieser at culinary events and brand activations

What You Bring

• 5 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, culinary school, or teaching environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience supervising staff
• Passion for culinary education, hospitality, and guest service
• Ability to manage multiple projects, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy for recipe documentation, scheduling, and inventory
• Culinary certification preferred; must hold or obtain Food Manager and TABC certification (training provided)

• Full-time position with flexible scheduling—availability between 5am–12am, including weekends
• Active, hands-on role requiring standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and occasional outdoor exposure
