What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Merchandiser position at FISCHER THOMPSON BEVERAGES INC?
The Territory Merchandiser will be responsible for maximizing appeal and sales of all products by appropriately displaying them in their POG'd space while also identifying additional off shelf placements throughout the store.
oOverall appearance of company's products will be greatly influenced by the merchandisers ability to complete objectives from FTB sales team, and effectively coordinating them with brand reps, and the managers at assigned stores.
oCore functions of the role will include maintaining adequate and shopable stock levels, keeping shelves organized and to POG, and setting up displays and promotional materials.
oCoordinate lift/cleans and resets.
oKeeping an organized and clean space in assigned backstock areas will be critical in; preventing breakage, allowing sales team to manage proper inventory, and allowing for quick deliveries.
oOther responsibilities may include, but not limited to, repairing damaged products, organizing damaged products for return, and consolidating cases, delivering emergency orders, training new hires.
Typical schedule consists of 1 weekend day 4 weekdays.
Routes are day shifts.

Essential Skills:
*Must have strong communication and time management skills
*Prior retail/merchandising experience preferred, but not required
*Ability to move cases of beverages weighing 20 lbs
*Physically able to perform repetitive movements i.e.; bend, kneel, squat, lift
*Must have valid NJ drivers license
Salary : $18 - $22
