We’re hiring: Technical Sales Engineer – Texas (DFW Area)

fischer Fixings USA is growing fast in the U.S., and we’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to help expand our presence in façade systems and structural anchoring across major projects in Texas.

In this role, you’ll partner directly with engineers, architects, façade consultants, and contractors—providing technical guidance, calculations/submittals, and on-site support to drive the right system selection and design.

What you’ll do

• Be the technical partner for A/E/C (engineers, architects, façade consultants, contractors)

• Support specs, calculations, submittals, and project bids

• Grow territory revenue and manage project opportunities

• Deliver trainings/CEUs and represent fischer in the industry

• Provide jobsite support: testing, troubleshooting, training

Must-haves

• Bachelor’s preferred in Engineering 

• 3 years of relevant engineering experience (preferred)

• Experience with ventilated façade (rainscreen) and/or structural support systems

• Solid understanding of anchoring design and the performance of mechanical and chemical concrete anchors

• Strong knowledge of the building & construction industry and the IBC 2018 Building Code

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and project specifications

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office; experience with SAP or QuickBooks is a plus

• Strong customer-facing communication skills across engineers, architects, contractors, and suppliers

• Entrepreneurial, results-driven, self-motivated mindset with strong problem-solving skills
