Wine Brand Ambassador – In-Store Tastings (Part-Time, Flexible)

About Us Samplii is a platform that connects beverage brands with retailers to run in-store sampling events. We are partnering with a leading French wine education program to run a series of Côtes du Rhône tastings at independent wine and spirits retailers this fall. Events are also held in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Missouri. The Role We are looking for friendly, knowledgeable people to run in-store wine tastings at local retailers. You will pour samples, talk with customers about the wines, and help drive sales for the store. Events usually last 2 to 3 hours, mostly on Thursday through Saturday afternoons and evenings. Events run from now through the end of December, and strong performers will be offered more events in 2026. What You Will Do Arrive on time and set up a professional tasting station at the assigned store Pour three to four Côtes du Rhône wines (a white, a red, and a rosé when available) and explain them to customers Work with store staff to encourage purchases Follow all responsible service and state alcohol rules Send a short recap after each event, including photos and customer feedback What We Are Looking For Must be 21 or older Prior experience with wine tastings, retail, hospitality, or brand ambassador work Comfortable starting conversations with customers Reliable, punctual, and professional Own transportation to get to stores in your area Wine knowledge or certification (WSET, CSW, sommelier coursework) is a plus but not required TIPS or similar responsible alcohol service certification is a plus Why Join Flexible scheduling, so you pick the events that work for you Paid training on the wines and on effective in-store selling Opportunity for ongoing work as the program grows To apply, please submit your resume and a few sentences about any tasting or wine experience you have.
