You will process, verify, and reconcile incoming payments while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming remittance transactions including checks, lockbox payments, and electronic remittances
- Accurately enter payment data into internal systems
- Verify payment details for completeness and accuracy
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies or missing information
- Reconcile daily transaction totals and prepare required reports
- Follow internal control procedures and regulatory guidelines
- Safeguard sensitive customer payment information
- Collaborate with team members and partner departments to resolve processing issues
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy standards
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in business, accounting, or finance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with numerical data and repetitive tasks
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and follow structured operational processes
- Experience in remittance processing, banking operations, or office administration
- Familiarity with lockbox processing systems or financial transaction tools
- Understanding of basic financial controls or compliance procedures
