Job Overview: As a Server, you’ll be responsible for resident interaction with the dining program for the community. From daily operations of the restaurant and bar, to catering and special events. This is a position for an individual who routinely exercises good judgment and exceptional problem-solving skills. As the face of the dining experience, maintaining positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment is critical while maintaining standards and authentically delivering on our Values and Global Service Standards. Your Responsibilities:- Prepare restaurant for lunch / dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
- Must be able to explain the chef's specialties; identify appropriate wines; answer food preparation questions
- Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
- Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording resident choices; identifying Resident special dietary needs and special requests
- Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars
- Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs
- Properly open and pour wine at the tableside
- Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; returning credit card and signature slip to Resident
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary.
- Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and is able to interact and communicate successfully to the residents and team.
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

- Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job function
- Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures.
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
- Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers.
Salary : $11
