Your Responsibilities:

Compensation: $16.00 Hourly

Job Overview:
The Recreation Staff are responsible for monitoring the area they are working in and performing any necessary duties in that area. Provides customer service to all residents and vendors needing assistance.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating activities and events.
- Implement activities as scheduled by the Department.
- Monitor daily activity in their work area.
- Perform such additional duties and responsibilities as may be required by the needs of the department, the company and the Poinciana Community.
- Handle cash properly in accordance with our Cash Handling Policy.
- Completes and complies with Food Safety Certification at the concession stand.
- Assist in closing and opening procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalency preferred.
- Must possess strong customer service background
- Two (2) to three (3) years of business experience in similar position is preferred.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Good appearance, computer skills, verbal and written communication skills. Leadership qualities and ability to work with other people.
- Complete Food Safety Certification.
- Physical demands include ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs.
- Standing, sitting, walking, carrying, and occasional climbing.
- Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends.
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, mass email, database management, etc.).
- Able to work with vendors and crews organizing events in a timely manner.
- Excellent working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Handle, finger, grasp and lift objects like tables and chairs for event set up as well as packages: must be able to reach with hands and arms.
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 40 hours per week. Rotating Schedule.
