Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, experienced Luxury High-Rise General Manager for an on-site position in Miami, FL. The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of a luxury high-rise residential property, ensuring seamless management and exceptional resident experiences. Responsibilities include managing staff, maintaining the property, coordinating with vendors, enforcing community policies, developing budgets, and implementing cost-saving strategies. The General Manager will work closely with the Board of Directors, residents, and FirstService Residential departments to uphold the property’s value and promote a superior living environment.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and people management skills including team building, staff development, and conflict resolution
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget preparation, financial analysis, and cost control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with residents, staff, vendors, and stakeholders
- Project management, operational oversight, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of property management practices, relevant regulations, and luxury residential standards
- Ability to stay organized and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in utilizing property management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant technology tools
- Experience with high-rise communities or similar luxury properties preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Real Estate, or related field preferred
- Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and/or Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation is a plus
Skills - Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in property Operations, Hospitality, or construction
- Bachelor-s degree in business or related field
- Must be Certified and Licensed by the State of Florida for Community Association Management (CAM)
- Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary.
- Proficiency in computer programs like Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows required.
- Excellent organization, motivation, leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential information.
- Knowledge and ability to apply Florida Statutes and Community documents.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs following appropriate safety procedures.
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and occasionally climb.
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
- Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (wind, heat, cold, rain, etc.).
Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversee property staff
Schedule: 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Will require afternoon and evening for events and meetings.
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 Annual
