What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard | Luxury Multifamily Building in Woodside, Queens position at FirstService Residential NY?
Residential building is looking for talented security professionals to help ensure a safe environment for all residents and employees. Work as a team to diligently monitor the property and perform access and equipment control.
Tasks Include: Greeting and checking in guests, visitors & vendors, logging in issues & events, calling residents, accepting deliveries, responding to all issues in a courteous and professional manner, communicating with resident & colleagues, patrolling the property when needed, monitoring entrances and surveillance footage, logging in maintenance requests, respond to alarms in timely manner, submit reports of daily activity, filing incident reports, enforcing building rules.
Requirements:
Must have eye for detail and able to multitask in a fast paced environment
Outstanding communication; ability to speak to others, including residents and colleagues
Must be organized
Critical thinker with problem solving skills
Must be dependable with excellent time management
Ability to take direction and follow through with tasks
Eagerness to learn new skills
Ability to use a computer and phone system
Ability to write reports
Must be available to work weekends and flexibility to work overtime
Must be able to work the below schedule and have flexibility:
Monday- 7AM to 3:30PM
Tuesday- 7AM to 3:30PM
Wednesday- 7AM to 3:30PM
Thursday- 7AM to 3:30PM
Friday- 7AM to 3:30PM
