Vice President, Finance

We’re looking for a Vice President, Finance to play a critical leadership role within the U.S. Life Finance team.
This is a high-visibility opportunity to work directly with the CFO and senior leadership, influencing financial strategy across a complex and evolving reinsurance platform.

What You’ll Do
Executive Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing finance teams
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on financial strategy and accounting matters
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the function
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee accounting across reinsurance operations, investments, and intercompany activity
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting across IFRS, U.S. Statutory, Solvency II, and Tax
- Partner with auditors and provide guidance on complex transactions and new deals
Treasury & Expense Management
- Lead expense planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee liquidity, cash management, and banking relationships
- Collaborate with investment teams on capital deployment strategies
Risk, Controls & Compliance
- Provide executive oversight of internal controls, SOX/MAR compliance, and risk frameworks
- Lead audit activities, control design, and remediation efforts
- Ensure strong governance and regulatory compliance
Talent & Transformation
- Build and retain top-tier finance talent
- Lead system, data, and process transformation initiatives
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation
What We’re Looking For
- CPA required
- 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Strong background in insurance or reinsurance
- Deep expertise in IFRS and U.S. Statutory accounting
- Proven ability to lead large teams and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience navigating complex, global, and regulated environments
- A hands-on leader who thrives in change and drives results
