Financial Analyst
Location: Wilmington, DE Area
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Salary: Up to $65,000
Type: Direct Hire
A growing, established organization is seeking two Financial Analysts to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2 years of finance, accounting, or analytical experience who is looking to join a collaborative team and continue building their financial analysis experience.
- Prepare and maintain recurring financial reports and analysis
- Analyze financial and operational data using Excel
- Track financial activity and maintain supporting schedules
- Review transactions and financial information for accuracy
- Identify and research discrepancies
- Assist with financial reconciliations and accruals
- Maintain and update financial data within internal systems
- Prepare analysis to support business and management decision-making
- Work with various departments to gather and analyze financial information
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities
- Support ongoing finance projects and process improvements
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of Finance, Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required, including VLOOKUP and SUMIFS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with financial data and large spreadsheets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
