We are working with a distribution company that is looking for a hands on Accounting Manager to manage their core financial operations and accounting function.
This role will be responsible for month and year end close, management of day to day GL Accounting and accounting operations, financial analysis, management of internal and external audits, business partnering, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month end close and accounting operations for the organization.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including commentary and related analysis.
- Prepare financial reports for senior leadership.
- Review variances and analyze trends for GL line items.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and insight for any accounting issues.
- Be involved in continuous evaluation and improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ad-hoc projects.
Experience Requirements
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 5 years of overall accounting experience; manufacturing/distribution experience required.
- CPA preferred
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
