Position: Accounting Manager
Schedule: Monday-Thursday in office with some flex
We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on, results-driven Accounting Manager to join our Burlington-based team. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this individual will be a leader within our accounting team and will have two direct reports. Our Accounting Manager will oversee US-based accounting functions, manage the month-end financial close process, and partner with cross-functional leaders to drive strategic initiatives to enable growth and scalability across the organization.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the US accounting team
- Manage and develop the US accounting team by fostering an environment of goals achievement through feedback and coaching
- Design, enhance, and maintain strong controls and processes within accounting operations
- Have active involvement in business transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with various cross functional business partners on various ad-hoc reporting and support requests
- Partner with external auditors to drive the timely completion of our annual audit

The Accounting Manager must be a proven leader with the ability to develop and manage a team while collaborating cross-functionally. Additionally, for this role, we are looking for someone who possesses:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- 4 years of experience managing a team
- Proficiency in Fixed Assets, 842 Lease Accounting, Treasury and consolidation of multiple companies with foreign exchange
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of current US GAAP
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- A motivated self-starter who thrives when taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight
- Consistently meets critical deadlines
- Proven analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
- Experience using an enterprise level ERP system
Salary : $130,000 - $145,000
