Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning, demolition, and debris removal using hand tools and power tools to prepare sites for restoration.
- Conduct fire and water damage restoration processes, including moisture detection, drying, and sanitization.
- Execute mold remediation procedures following industry standards to eliminate mold growth and prevent future issues.
- Assist with asbestos abatement projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations during removal and disposal.
- Utilize carpet cleaning equipment and techniques to restore flooring affected by water or fire damage.
- Support construction activities such as minor repairs, drywall installation, and surface repairs as needed during restoration projects.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress updates for each project.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, fire and water damage restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is advantageous.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of restoration processes including moisture detection, drying methods, and cleaning protocols.
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined or challenging environments.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients throughout projects.
