Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-service-driven Admissions Coordinator to join our office in Mount Kisco, NY. This full-time role will oversee the client intake and admissions process and also serve as a part-time scheduler, providing regular backup and support to the Scheduling Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for new client inquiries and referrals.
- Gather and verify client information, complete intake documentation, and coordinate admission logistics.
- Communicate with clients, families, and referral sources to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Collaborate with the clinical and scheduling teams to align services with client needs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
- Perform part-time scheduling responsibilities, including assigning caregivers, managing schedule changes, and ensuring coverage continuity.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional, empathetic demeanor at all times.
- Participate in on-call weekend duties on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with home care or scheduling software a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced office environment.
- Reliable vehicle to conduct in-home visits as needed.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- In-office position located in Mount Kisco, NY
