Summary:
The Franchise Launch Coach is a key player on the Franchise Support team who serves as a business consultant to franchises opening, transferring, or expanding FirstLight entities. The individual in this role coaches and guides the business efforts of FirstLight entrepreneurs, seeking to maximize the success of each owner during the launch phase of the franchise life cycle. The Launch Coach is responsible for FirstLight franchise start-up effectiveness and initial development. The Launch Coach serves as the “frontline” operational support resource during the launch process and is directly accountable for launch success business results.
Essential Duties:
Essential job duties include the following items. Other duties must be performed as necessary or assigned.
- Manage the end-to-end launch process for new, transferring, or expanding franchises, facilitating pre-training and pre-opening procedures using the New Franchisee Launch Checklist.
- Provide comprehensive business coaching and consultation during the launch phase, conducting weekly virtual sessions focused on growth, finances, recruitment, and key performance metrics (hours per week, revenue, client satisfaction).
- Guide new owners in developing individualized business plans, including three-year projections and strategies for marketing, sales, recruiting, and retention.
- Coordinate with the Compliance Director to navigate state-specific licensure and regulation accreditation processes, ensuring timely completion of all compliance-related task checklists.
- Facilitate Flight School training in Cincinnati and manage pre- and post-training curricula, aligning timelines with licensure milestones and leveraging internal technology platforms.
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for owners in launch, providing timely support for inquiries regarding accounting, client care, technology, and general business operations.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to monitor launch progress, analyze success indicators, and implement process improvements based on archival data and long-term results.
- Ensure a seamless transition for franchisees from the launch phase to ongoing Start-Up Coach support or Grow Together Peer groups upon successful opening.
- Maintain cross-training with the StartUp Coach to provide alternative coverage and support consistency across the franchise life cycle.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.
- Associate degree or higher in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Experience in business operations, business development, franchise support, business ownership, or management within the home care, senior care, or healthcare industries.
- Working knowledge of industry technology platforms (Client Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, Learning Management Systems, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite platform.
- Multi-state, multi-unit operations, management, or business ownership experience in home care, senior care, or home health care industry preferred.
- Esteemed at building and fostering successful relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven track record of working independently to meet or exceed business goals.
- Experience meeting challenges to grow a business working through others and the demonstrated creativity to drive business growth.
