Role Overview:
As a Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to our clients, ensuring they enjoy their best day, every day. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to deliver the support needed for our clients' well-being. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, toileting, and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and ensure a positive emotional support environment.
- Help with medication reminders and light housekeeping duties.
- Transport clients to appointments or social engagements as needed.
- Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Compassionate and dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors and adults in need.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends.
- Have certifications in CPR or First Aid.
Bonus If You:
- Possess experience with senior care or disability support.
- Hold additional certifications related to home care.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is available as Full-Time or Part-Time, with availability from Monday through Sunday.
Location:
This is an on-site position located in Glynn County, Georgia.
