Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Caregiver to join our team in . This role offers flexible shifts from Thursday through Sunday, with availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. The caregiver will provide vital support to clients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and delivering personalized care that promotes well-being and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patients’ health status, noting any changes or concerns for prompt action
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans and maintain detailed documentation
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely to assist with mobility needs
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information
Skills
- Proven experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings
- Knowledge of patient observation, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid are highly preferred
- Strong understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, autism spectrum disorders, and hospice care needs
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and protocols
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility support
