Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to our clients, ensuring they enjoy their best day, every day. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to deliver the support needed for our clients’ well-being. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call shifts, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship through conversation and activities to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Manage medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Support transportation to appointments and social activities as needed.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure communication is consistent and effective.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Compassion and a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
• Experience in a caregiving role is a plus but not mandatory.

Bonus If You:

• Have a CNA certification or relevant home care experience.
• Are bilingual and can communicate with clients in another language.
• Possess specialized skills in areas such as dementia care

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call shifts available, with flexibility to work across all seven days of the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only in St. Marys, Georgia.
