Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote mental well-being.
- Perform patient observation to monitor changes in health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Provide medications reminders as directed and assist with basic healthcare needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
- Engage clients in memory care activities to stimulate cognitive function.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
Skills
- Experience in senior care or home care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of hospice care practices is beneficial.
