Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
- Support safe mobility and transfers to prevent falls
- Prepare meals and maintain a safe, clean home environment
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, and social engagements
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Follow detailed care plans and document client progress accurately
Schedule & Work Environment
- 2 to 12 hour shifts available mornings, evenings, and weekends (most shifts 3-4 hours)
- Must be available to work at least every other weekend
- Care is delivered in private homes throughout Bloomington, Edina, and surrounding metro areas
- Reliable personal transportation required (driving may be involved)
- Physical duties include walking, lifting, standing, and transfer assistance
Requirements
- Current CNA registration active in Minnesota
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Clear English communication skills for caregiving and documentation
- Smartphone with internet for scheduling and communication
- Completion of paid orientation and training
- Ability to perform job duties with or without accommodations
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of healthcare or caregiving experience highly desirable
