Responsibilities
Registered/Non-Reg. Neuro Tech Job Summary:
Under direct or indirect supervision by physician will be performing the following procedures:
EEG- Performs routine EEG procedures, NCS Performs routine Nerve Conductions, IONM-EEG-Performs routine Intra Operative EEG monitoring, cEEG- Performs routine ICU/cEEG and provides findings, results and descriptive analysis and EMG- Performs routine electromyography.
Qualifications
Registered Neuro Tech Qualifications:
- Must be a Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP), accredited Neurodiagnostic Program or have an Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university. BCLS certification by the AHA required.
- Well-developed computer skills.
- Previous experience in patient care environment preferred.
Non-Registered Neuro Tech Qualifications :
- High school graduate with 6 months of direct patient care experience or one year of post –secondary education or is enrolled in an Allied Health Neurodiagnostic Program.
- Previous experience in patient care environment preferred.
- BLS certification preferred.
- Well-developed computer skills
