Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, supervising staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the organization’s mission of providing exceptional care to individuals with acquired brain injuries.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the ABI SCL and HCB program.
- Supervise and support Program Managers, Team Leads, and direct care staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing and scheduling to meet participant needs.
- Monitor compliance with state regulations, Medicaid requirements, and agency policies.
- Conduct routine quality assurance reviews and operational audits.
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and performance evaluations.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to establish operational goals and improve program performance.
- Monitor program budgets, supplies, equipment, and facility operations.
- Foster a positive work environment while promoting excellent participant care.
- Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Business Administration, Social Work, Rehabilitation, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience in healthcare, ABI, IDD, behavioral health, or human services.
- Knowledge of Medicaid waiver services and state regulatory requirements preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing community-based waiver programs.
- Experience with quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
