The Team Manager – Shift Execution for Central Maintenance will lead a Shift Maintenance Team consisting of Shift Managers and Technicians responsible for supporting a large fleet of cranes and critical equipment across a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. This role provides technical leadership and operational support for reactive, proactive, and preventive maintenance activities.
The Basics
• High School Diploma required; post-secondary technical education preferred
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Level 1 Certification in Vibration Analysis and/or PE license is a plus
• 5–10 years of experience supporting complex mechanical and electrical systems
• 5 years of maintenance leadership experience managing multi-skilled teams
• Experience with crane control systems and crane mechanical systems
• General knowledge of crane automation and tracking systems
• Knowledge of OSHA and ASME crane safety and inspection standards
• Experience with budgeting and maintenance cost forecasting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and ERP systems
• Strong understanding of maintenance and internal logistics operations
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous supervisory or management experience
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
• Strong heavy industrial maintenance experience

What You’ll Be Doing
• Oversee crane maintenance and project execution activities
• Support maintenance operations tied to site power and utility systems
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
• Investigate repeat equipment failures and safety-related deficiencies
• Support root cause failure analysis and incident investigations
• Maintain accurate work order and maintenance documentation
• Review OEM manuals and maintenance procedures
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
• Support quality and environmental compliance initiatives
