FirstFour Staffing is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an industrial client in Mobile, AL. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance of industrial process automation systems, with focus on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs),
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance of Motor Control utilizing Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s)
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance of industrial systems, such as SYMEO, GPS, RFID
- Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFAs) on lengthy delays within a team environment and execute Corrective Actions (CAs) to mitigate future occurrences
- Continuous improvement projects to increase quality and efficiency of the production process focusing on automatic control systems and associated field devices
- Continuous optimization of process automation systems utilizing process data acquisition systems
- Continuous improvement of the equipment reliability by developing and reviewing PM’s
- Conducting maintenance activities utilizing SAP software (Notifications, Work orders, Purchase Requisitions, Spare Parts, Service Entries, etc.)
- Train, coach and mentor maintenance team members
- Developing and Auditing Energy Control Procedures (ECPs) to ensure the safety of team members performing work on mill equipment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Work experience with electrical maintenance in an industrial environment
- Understanding of standard programming principles and practices to include logical instances and cycles, calling functions and modular programming for logic reuse
- Competencies in multiple programming platforms with use of ladder logic, function block and textual/statement list logic
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiar with PLC’s, (Allen Bradley, Schneider, Siemens) VFD’s, and industrial automation
- Ability to read and create electrical drawings (AutoCAD preferred)
