Job description:
FirstFleet is a national trucking company with 2500 trucks in 29 states. Our Syracuse NY facility needs a Transportation Supervisor.
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Off days- Tuesdays/Saturdays.
Time:12:00-8:00 pm and as needed
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Experience with TMW preferred but not required
- Driver/Freight tracking and scheduling
- Customer communications
- Driver & Equipment utilization
- Dispatching
- Monitoring Hours of Service
- Filling in for drivers as needed
- Monitoring inbound paperwork
- Teamwork
Job Requirements
- · Transportation experience required.
- · Knowledge of DOT Regulations
- · Computer Skills (Outlook, MS Office Suite, Windows and TMW)
- - Self-Starter, with strong attention to detail
Pre-employment drug screen and DOT medical qualification requiredSalary:
