Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support long-term strategic planning and annual budgeting.
- Conduct rolling forecasts to reflect changing business conditions and new revenue streams.
- Collaborate with business units to gather inputs and validate assumptions for forecasting and budgeting.
- Analyze financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and cost metrics, with a focus on new business initiatives and diversified product lines.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key variances and trends.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics to monitor the financial health of the organization.
- Assist with Monthly Close alongside accounting and understand how everything rolls into the financial statement.
- Partner with operational and product teams to assess financial impacts of new opportunities and product diversification.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis and scenario planning.
- Assist leadership in evaluating the financial viability of new contracts and service agreements.
- Ability to understand the Operations side of business and communicate with various departments monthly.
- Utilize data analytics to assess revenue performance and identify areas for margin improvement.
- Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Leverage business intelligence tools to enhance reporting capabilities and data visualization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, preferably within healthcare, insurance, or TPA environments.
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Hyperion).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
