Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Technology Support:
Provides technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues within the facility.
Assists with setting up and maintaining IT equipment, including computers, printers and software applications.
Collaborates with IT Remote Specialist and IT Director to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Tracks and manages IT equipment inventory, logs and updates tickets in the IT help desk system.
Sets up and maintains audio visual (AV) equipment for meetings and presentations, including cable management.
Replaces and swaps out faulty hardware components, such as keyboards, monitors, mice and cables to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
Serves as a backup for adding new users to systems or makes minor updates to user permissions as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned to support FCH’s goals, objectives and values.
Administrative:
Performs general administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the facility.
Coordinates meetings, prepares reports, manages correspondence, answers phones and supports staff with administrative tasks.
Maintains confidential documents, files, manuals and standard operating procedures.
Organizes, maintains and updates electronic and physical and medical records in accordance with legal requirements and ensures proper retention, storage of documents and data.
Prepares memos, correspondence and reports as needed.
Maintains calendars and prioritizes meeting requests for management.
Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Inventory Specialist:
Conducts weekly inventory counts of supplies and equipment and documents inventory counts accurately.
Monitors par levels and threshold levels for supplies and equipment.
Completes order logs to ensure supplies and equipment are procured in a timely manner.
Coordinates asset management for equipment and items assigned to facility and replacement or repair of equipment as necessary.
Organizes and maintains supply areas to ensure easy access and efficient use.
Receives new shipments of supplies and equipment.
Distributes supplies to Active Supply areas and collaborates with team members to ensure that items do not stock out
Checks expiration dates on supplies and equipment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies
Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and healthcare administration.
Knowledge of healthcare documentation, office procedures, technical support and troubleshooting.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to interact with medical staff, providers, leadership and clients in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
Ability to balance competing demands and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with leadership, staff, patients, the public and external partners.
Ability to take initiative, while being proactive and independent.
Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations effectively and calmly.
Ability to obtain security clearance, to include a criminal background check.
Strong attention to detail, follow-up and timely completion of assigned tasks.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Three (3) or more years of a combination of administrative support, customer service and technical experience OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree in healthcare administration, information technology or related field

Experience working in healthcare or a correctional facility
Special Requirements: This position will be subject to a background check.
Physical Requirements: The position requires the ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds with prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting at a desk, viewing a computer and reading a variety of materials. Must be able to seize, hold, grasp, turn or otherwise work with your hands. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, such as typing for extended periods of time.

Work Environment
Work is performed in a correctional healthcare environment with exposure to noise, communicable diseases, controlled access areas, and unpredictable conditions.
