Responsibilities - Heavy Duty Truck Technician:

• Diagnose and repair complex issues on heavy-duty trucks, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, and aftertreatment systems
• Perform thorough inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles meet DOT and safety standards
• Accurately document findings, repairs, and parts used in work orders
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues across multiple makes and models
• Work efficiently and safely, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with service writers, parts staff, and other technicians to complete repairs on time
• Stay current on manufacturer training, tools, and repair processes
  
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements -Heavy Duty Truck Technician:

• Current NYS Vehicle Inspector License
• Hands-on experience as a heavy-duty truck technician
• Expert knowledge of diesel engines, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Familiarity with major truck brands such as Freightliner, International, Isuzu, Hino, Ford, and others
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
