- Provide training and support to the sales team and assist in closing deals
- Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to achieve revenue targets
- Arrange for various financing avenues
- Present customers with aftermarket
- Structure deals for maximum profitability, making credit decisions and effectively closing deals.
- Engage with customers to build a base of referrals and repeat business
- Appraise trades
- Help manage all aspects of the sales department and inventory lot
- Understand dealership operations including all aspects of sales and finance
- Must have proven and verifiable work experience as an automotive Sales Manager
- Must be able to lead a team, complete follow up processes, analyze lead data, and strategize to maximize sales opportunities
- Auction experience is a plus.
- Steady work and performance history
- Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures and/or automotive sales experience is greatly valued
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Professional appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Top problem-solving skills
- Organized, detail oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a strong closer
- Valid driver's license
