What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Assistant - Fort Smith position at First Western Bank?
First Western Bank has an immediate opening for an experienced Loan Assistant for our Fort Smith Location. Individuals in this role are an integral part of the lending team and work hand-in-hand with their peers and Loan Officers by handling loan data entry and assembling documentation for customer loans, preparing credit and financial files for commercial loans and reviewing tax returns. Loan Assistants are also responsible for reviewing loan documents prior to closing and verifying accuracy with other lending department team members prior to funding.
In addition to these responsibilities this position will also assist the Bank President/Chief Credit Officer with all administrative tasks including, but not limited to, general clerical and general office duties involving typing, record and file maintenance, mail distribution, answering telephones, writing memos, etc. as directed.
It is preferred that qualified candidates have a minimum 3 years' current commercial or mortgage loan experience. Applicants must pass a criminal background and consumer credit check as well as drug screening. EOE
