Wealth Management Banker Overview
Maintains customer relations and is the customer’s primary contact for financial planning needs; maintains an understanding of investment planning, insurance, trust, and banking products; and partners with First Western team members to assist each customer with their unique goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of all First Western products and services
- Facilitate a customer relationship team to form a plan to reach customer’s goals and objectives
- Communicate the short-term and long-term plans to Wealth Management customers, in such a way as to earn their trust
- Proactively increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Review and pull insights from analytics and data
- Assist in implementing change that anticipates and addresses customer needs
- Plan and present customer events to include for example, motivating, educating, and entertaining the customer
- Make recommendations to management on strategic customer-focused relationship initiatives
Wealth Management Banker Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management studies, or in a related discipline
- Three to five years of experience in a financial sales position, preferably in a leadership position
- Knowledge of marketing and business concepts
- Knowledge of financial management
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration
- FINRA registration including Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) is a plus
