First Western Bank is currently looking for a full-time Branch Manager at our Crosslake, MN location.
The pay range for this position is $75,000 to $120,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors which vary according to position. Branch Manager Position Overview
Responsible for efficiently managing the branch office, promoting bank products and services, and supervising operation functions within the branch office. Develops, services, and maintains a commercial and consumer loan portfolio. Works to achieve projected branch growth and profitability goals.
Branch Manager Essential Job Functions
- Represent and promote the company to the public and provides leadership through community involvement
- Communicate regularly with Market President and provide on-going direction and guidance to branch staff
- Conduct branch employee meetings to share information which will result in achieving the branch performance standards
- Assist with the hiring and training of branch operations staff. Responsible for supervision of branch operations staff as determined by the Market President
- Maintain adequate operating supplies and vault cash supply for the branch
- Establish and maintain productive client relationships
- Develop and maintain a loan portfolio of the branch’s major credits
- Actively promote and provide profitable lending products and services to new or existing bank customers in accordance with bank policy
- Make recommendations and assist in implementing new products and procedures to improve customer satisfaction and bank profitability
- Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations and the Bank’s policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act
- Maintain continuing education related to regulatory standards
Branch Manager Other Duties

Branch Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or the equivalent in related work experience
- Minimum three to five years of experience in banking preferred
