Job Overview
DAYTIME ONLY, NO NIGHTS, WE CLOSE DAILY @ 2:30pm. We are seeking a friendly and energetic Host/Busser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. You will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area while supporting the waitstaff in delivering exceptional service. Weekend availability is important, we do require our team members to be available for Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their tables, ensuring a pleasant first impression.
- Manage the wait list and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables, including resetting for new guests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring excellent guest relations.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing/cashing out guest when required.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere.
