Job Summary
DAYTIME SERVERS, NO NIGHTS EVER, WE CLOSE DAILY @ 2:30pm. We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive and efficient service to guests, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their dining experience. We do require our Servers to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday), we are closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, offering assistance with additional orders or concerns.
- Process payments using cash registers or point-of-sale systems accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure guest health and satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred, particularly in casual dining settings.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for processing orders and handling cash transactions effectively.
- Familiarity with food handling practices.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
