Overview
Join Columbus First United Methodist Church as a part-time Family Ministries Director to work with our children, youth and families. We are seeking a creative, energetic, passionate person to build upon existing ministries while inviting us to new opportunities for learning, service and spiritual growth.
Responsibilities
- Developing relationships with our children, youth and families
- Oversight of educational and service opportunities, and annual special events
- Outreach to the children and families of our 150-member preschool
Qualifications
- Experience in leadership roles within family or youth ministry settings is ideal
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically across diverse age groups
- Ability to plan and execute engaging events that foster community involvement
- Experience working with children and families
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm, organization, and a positive attitude.
