What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Church Childcare Provider position at First United Methodist Church of Murfreesboro?
First United Methodist Church of Murfreesboro is looking to hire Nursery childcare staff. This staff provides childcare for Church services, and various Church events. Applicants are required to:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Can pass a background check
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be able to lift 50lbs
Experience is not necessary, but being comfortable working with children of all ages and abilities is a must, with ages birth through 1st grade being the most common ages to work with. Being able to communicate effectively with both children and adults is also necessary.
A weekly Sunday morning shift from 8:00AM until 12:00PM is required (this shift is year round, EVERY Sunday), along with Wednesday evenings during the School year. A Tuesday/Thursday MORNING shift during the school year can also be discussed. More hours may also be available monthly depending on the Church’s events and need for childcare.
Pay is $12 per hour. As part of the job, your children are welcome to come to work with you, but you may not necessarily be in the same room as your child during shifts. This job is great for stay-at-home moms or students! Serious inquiries only please.
