Overview
This position oversees the hospitality and maintenance on site at the John Wesley Ranch in Divide, Colorado - owned by First United Methodist Church, Colorado Springs - and works to ensure campers have an excellent experience. This position provides a safe environment and hospitality for all retreat and church groups. The Site Supervisor is provided housing and is expected to live primarily on site at the Ranch.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Culture
○ Understands and supports church governance policies and procedures.
○ Respects and supports the mission and vision of the church and the ranch.
○ Supports cultural values with an emphasis on integrity, accountability, respect, inclusion, and collaboration.
○ Ensures compliance with regulatory and internal process guidelines.
○ All personnel must adhere to the FUMC-CS personnel handbook policies and procedures.
Cleaning Services and Maintenance
○ Responsible for cleaning and stocking the facilities, ensuring the property and facilities are ready at all times for events.
○ Completes basic maintenance on buildings and property.
○ Coordinates property development with the trustees.
○ Works with the finance team to adhere to expenditure boundaries and ensure invoice matches camper numbers.
○ Ensures compliance with all FUMC-CS policies, including the Safe Sanctuary policy for group usage.
○ Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety requirements.
Hospitality and Safety
○ Serves as the primary contact for individuals and groups during ranch habitation.
○ Responds to needs with radical hospitality.
○ Remain aware of safety alerts and coordinate with groups on any safety events.

Skills Requirement
● Passion for creation, land management, and facilities.
● Self-starter with competency in team building.
● Organizational skills, communication skills, and the ability to coordinate and work with multiple constituencies in person and virtually.
● Professional and patient, with a strong orientation towards customer service.
● Ability to identify and anticipate needs, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
● Proficiency with computers, the Google platform, and database software.
● At least 21 years of age.
● A degree in a related field is preferred, forestry, land management, or hospitality is a plus.
● Certification in First AID and CPR, and willing to seek additional training as needed.

Compensation
● All employees of FUMC-CS are “at will” employees. This means the church has the right to terminate employment, with or without cause, or for any or no reason whatsoever. The employee has the same right.
● $30,000-35,000/annually, plus housing on site with all utilities paid.
Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
