The Valuation Analyst II is responsible for conducting more complex appraisal reviews and performing independent valuations. This role requires experience in real estate analysis and the ability to assess risk in property valuations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze real estate appraisals for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform independent property valuations using market data, financial models, and industry methodologies.
- Identify potential risks and inconsistencies in appraisal reports, providing recommendations for adjustments.
- Collaborate with appraisers, lenders, and internal teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct market research to support valuation conclusions and risk assessments.
- Assist in training junior analysts and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in real estate appraisal, valuation review, or financial analysis.
- Familiarity with USPAP, FIRREA, and industry best practices.
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
