First Unitarian NWI is seeking a compassionate childcare worker to provide safe, engaging care for children aged 0-7, possibly older, primarily on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise children aged 0–7, possibly older, before, during and after church services, with opportunities for hours other than these times for other services, activities at the church
- Engage children with age-appropriate activities
- Maintain cleanliness of the childcare area
- Use electronic pagers for general communication and emergencies
- Foster a welcoming and safe environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience caring for children
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background check
Reporting
Reports to the First Unitarian Minister or Board President

Pay: From $17.05 per hour
