Safety Analyst
First Transit is seeking a Safety Analyst for our Tempe, Arizona location! In this position, the Safety Analyst will enter property and workers compensation claims, correspond with adjusters for property casualty damage and workers compensation claims, assist with safety reports regarding claim information and ensure information has been recorded accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Enter claims to the third-party administrator.
- Respond to adjusters for their needs/questions which includes copies of videos/statements, accident investigation completed, photos, etc.
- Respond to local agencies for restitution of a subrogation claim. Work with the third-party administrator and follow up with adjusters on restitution.
- Request and provide estimates of collisions to the third-party administrator.
- Correspond and respond to attorneys on requests for claims.
- File and maintain collision and workers compensation folders.
- Maintain and accurately update various accident reports and injury logs.
- Database entry and a high level of detail for claim evaluations.
- Identifies and determines trends in safety/risk data.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills:
- 3-5 years’ experience in claim entry.
- Previous property casualty damage and/or workers compensation adjuster experience preferred.
- Extremely proficient in use of MS Excel specifically (among other Office applications)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with all levels of management.
- Highly organized, deadline oriented, possess high attention to detail.
Education & Certifications Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
