The UI/UX Designer II supports the creation of intuitive, engaging, and accessible design solutions for both mobile and desktop applications. This role focuses on translating requirements and design direction into high-quality screens and UI flows, using established design systems and brand standards. The ideal candidate has strong foundational UI/UX skills, can execute within a design system, and works well under the guidance of senior designers and product teams.

Job Duties
- Develop intuitive and engaging interaction designs that enhance user experience across various platforms, including wireframes, user flows, and mock-ups that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Support user-centered design decisions by incorporating usability principles and accessibility standards into designs, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborate with UX researchers and product partners to incorporate user insights into design iterations.
- Support usability reviews and contribute to heuristic evaluations under design team guidance to identify usability issues and recommend actionable improvements.
- Develop detailed user journey maps that illustrate experiences across different touchpoints, identifying pain points and opportunities for enhancing satisfaction and engagement.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and interactive mock-ups using Figma, Adobe XD, Zeplin, etc., to validate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders and users.
- Contribute to the design of user flows for mobile and desktop applications in collaboration with senior designers and product managers.
- Create detailed visual design specifications and documentation for web and mobile platforms to ensure developers have a clear understanding of design intent and functionality.
- Produce and refine ready assets, including icons, graphics, and visual elements, ensuring final designs are pixel-perfect and aligned with brand guidelines and design systems.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and development teams to ensure consistent and cohesive user experience across all digital touchpoints.
- Follow established design systems and contribute to their maintenance as needed.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a UI/UX or Interaction Designer in corporate product design with a focus on mobile.
- Demonstrated ability to design for mobile (native apps and mobile web), responsive, and desktop platforms.
- Experience working within or contributing to enterprise-level design systems, using shared components, spacing tokens, and theming standards.
- Experience practicing corporate design with a clean, modern aesthetic, showcased through an online portfolio that demonstrates production-ready execution, attention to detail, and best practices in visual hierarchy, layout, and spacing.
- Expert software skills using Figma, Zeplin, Adobe Suites, and/or InVision
- Experience creating style guides, pattern libraries, and other design system solutions.
- Ability to create use case scenarios, complex user flows/information architecture, wireframes, mock-ups, UI and visual specifications, and interactive prototypes (Lo-Fi and Hi-Fi) for web and mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with design validation testing; user research skills a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines.
- Ability to deliver effective stakeholder presentations to both peer and executive-level audiences.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; Java or other coding skills a plus.
- Ability and passion to understand the user mindset, natural behaviors, emotions, and needs with deep empathy.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Multimedia Design, Information Architecture, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction HCI, Design, or other related fields of study or equivalent practical experience in product design role.

Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $94k - $112k annually annual bonus
Target Compensation in Rocklin, CA 95765: $104k - $128k annually annual bonus
