Manager, Mortgage Servicing (Doc and Lien Governance)

The Manager, Mortgage Servicing provides leadership over mortgage servicing operations, ensuring the effective execution of residential lending activities throughout the loan lifecycle. This role partners closely with internal teams and business stakeholders to deliver exceptional member service, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and portfolio performance. Responsible for leading and developing staff, overseeing servicing functions, resolving complex operational issues, supporting audits and compliance requirements, and driving process improvements that enhance performance and align with organizational goals and member expectations.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day-to-day mortgage servicing operations, ensuringmemberservice excellence, regulatory compliance, portfolio performance, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop servicing staff through performance management, coaching, scheduling, and clear communication of expectations and goals.
• Oversee key servicing activities, includingmember service and support,payment processing, payoffs, escrow administration, insurance tracking, andtimelyresolution of member issues and complaints, post-closing trailing recorded documents, verification of mortgage lien, payoff quotes and payoff processing, lien reconveyance, and MERS deactivation.
• Ensure adherence toinvestor,insurer, regulatory, and CFPB requirements while supporting audits, examinations, and internal control activities.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to implement servicing priorities, resolve complex issues, and support enterprise initiatives.
• Drive process improvement by standardizing workflows,monitoringperformance metrics, supporting system changes, andmaintainingeffective procedures and training.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Required Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in mortgage lending, servicing, loan operations, underwriting, processing, or a related residential lending environment.
• Experience leading a diverse team including hiring, coaching and performance management
• Strong experience in mortgage lending with exposure to key areas such as origination, underwriting, operations, servicing, or loan processing.
• Solid understanding of residential mortgage processes, regulatory requirements, and operational practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive execution in a moderately complex operational environment.
• Experience identifying and resolving day-to-day operational challenges using structured problem-solving approaches.
• Ability to coordinate cross-team activities and influence outcomes within and beyond the immediate team.
• Experience with workforce management, resource allocation, and achieving departmental performance goals.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and convey information clearly.
  
  

Location: Hillsboro Corporate Office | Hillsboro, OR 97124

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week in office

Target Compensation: $104,000 to $125,000 annually annual bonus
