We are seeking 2 dynamic individuals that would be motivated Team Leaders to spearhead our distribution operations and ensure seamless delivery processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily logistics activities, manage a team of warehouse and transportation staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing distribution operations, enhancing efficiency, and maintaining exceptional service levels. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team within a fast-paced supply chain environment, fostering growth and operational excellence.

Duties

• Working 5 days per week - 3 longer shifts and 2 shorter shifts
• Lead and supervise the delivery team drivers ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational procedures
• Oversee transportation planning and dispatching to meet delivery schedules while optimizing routes and reducing costs
• Manage distribution activities to ensure timely order fulfillment and accuracy
• Implement process improvements using continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity
• Supervise fleet management and drive as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies across all distribution functions
• May need to deliver in some circumstances
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Proven supervisory experience in warehouse operations, logistics management or distribution environments
• Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster collaboration
• Experience with freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures, dispatching, order fulfillment, and fleet management a plus
• Knowledge of inventory control techniques, distribution operations, warehouse distribution processes
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with logistics software or equivalent is preferred
• Ability to analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement

Basic Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the U.S, Must be 21 years of age, Must have a valid driver's license, Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (not including)

Team Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use hand held device for direction routing and customer delivery information.
• Must be comfortable driving/navigating and working in varying weather conditions.
• Load and unload packages/envelopes (up to 50 lbs) to be delivered. Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs throughout shift.
• Work independently focusing on organization and good decision making.
