Inventory Control Associate

The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for placement and oversight of accurate inventory in the warehouse of their designated branch. This role ensures that products are properly stored and inventory processes align with company standards. The associate supports branch operations by handling incoming and outgoing shipments, conducting inventory counts, and collaborating with other departments to maintain efficiency.

Follow established methods to ensure accurate inventory levels and placement at facility.
• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Review product and product line periodically to determine capacity needs.
• Follow-up on defective and return good claims with reps or manufacturers for items that can be returned or scrapped
• Monitor, analyze and provide direction for daily audit of unavailable inventory
• Ensure that company guidelines for the disposition of un-tied non-stock product are adhered to
• Perform reviews and assist in the hiring and terming of all appropriate staff
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

• 2 years' experience in logistics, warehouse management, or similar discipline
• Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge or experience with plumbing and heating products preferred
• Computer knowledge and skills, especially as it relates to inventory, and the ability to learn First Supply LLC's business system
