What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Medical Assistant position at First Stop Chiropractic?
We are a patient-focused chiropractic office in Fenton, MO seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Chiropractic Medical Assistant to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients, manage appointments, and ensure smooth office flow
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Assist with physical therapies (electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs, etc.)
- Educate patients on home exercises and healthy lifestyle habits
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms while maintaining equipment sterilization standards
- Handle administrative tasks including phones, scheduling, billing support, and correspondence
- Support inventory management and assist with marketing efforts
- Collaborate with the chiropractor and other practitioners for comprehensive patient care
- Uphold strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, empathetic attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and chiropractic care (preferred)
- Experience with EHR systems and medical office procedures is a plus
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and positioning
- Professional, flexible, and committed to a positive team environment
- Reliable transportation and availability for morning/afternoon shifts Monday–Thursday
Medical Assistant Certification, CNA, Previous experience in a chiropractic or medical office is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate!
