Overview
The recovery house manager plays a critical role in supporting males aged 18 facing various challenges, including behavioral health issues and addiction. This position involves assessing client needs, developing personalized care plans, and coordinating services to ensure clients receive comprehensive support. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to improving the lives of those they serve. Managers will be expected to live in one of the tiny homes on the property during their employment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Facilitate access to necessary services, including behavioral health support and addiction counseling.
- Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress and program effectiveness.
- Administer medications as prescribed and provide education on medication management.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Provide crisis intervention and first aid when necessary.
Skills
- Proficient in data collection methods and analysis for effective case management.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices.
- Experience in addiction counseling techniques and behavioral health interventions.
- Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with clients, families, and professionals.
- Ability to manage behaviors through established behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program is a plus.
- Background in social work or related fields is highly desirable.
- First aid certification is beneficial for emergency situations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
