First Steps Nursing and Therapy (located NE San Antonio) is seeking a Full Time Staffing Home Health recruiter for our private duty nursing department. This position is for Monday through Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm. This individual will maintain departmental day to day clinical activities, monitor and prioritize staff work flow and schedules of Licensed Nurses. (LVNs and RNs only.) On-call required. Looking for an experienced healthcare recruiter-with current experience recruiting RNs/LVNS. Please apply if you have recruiting experience. Hourly Commission Pay !
Job Duties:
- Assist in recruiting field staff, including but not limited to outbound calls, interviews, phone screening as needed.
- Coordinates and confirms schedules with licensed nurses.
- Manage incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Adheres to all First Steps Nursing and Therapy company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented with staff.
- Follow up and coordinate with all Clients to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines.
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Participate in the on call rotation after hours and weekends.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of home health or hospice scheduling experience is required.
- Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Able to follow instructions and work with little or no supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, computer software
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to maintain a positive attitude
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and exceptional planning and problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of staffing and scheduling requirements related to home health
