Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role is essential in supporting the educational development of children, in an early childhood settings. The Teacher's Aide will work closely with students, helping to facilitate learning and promote positive social interactions.
Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Provide care and supervision for toddlers and infants, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Help with the organization of classroom materials and resources.
- Engage with students during playtime and structured activities to foster development.
- Observe and document student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed, including preparing materials for lessons.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student behavior and progress.
Skills
- Experience in toddler care or babysitting is highly beneficial.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development theories.
- Ability to educate young children through engaging activities tailored to their developmental stages.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with students, parents, and staff effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
